5. Jigme Darji National Park
Bhutan's largest protected forest area. As one of the sanctuaries in South Asia, this park is at the top. Blue poppy, a rare species of Bhutan's national flower, can be seen in abundance within the park. There are magnolias, junipers flowers and many rare species of orchids. Giant rhubarb and ancient pine and oak trees abound. Bhutan's national animal Takin is seen among the animals in this sanctuary. If you are lucky, you can see red panda, golden langur, leopard and polar bear among other animals.
6. Simtokha Jang
Built in 1627, this is the gateway to Jung Thimpu Valley. The Rigney School for Jungha and Monastic Studies is located in Thimpur's oldest monastery. Other attractions include: Fresco and State Carvings.
7. Memorial Court
It is basically a monument. This monument was built in 1974 to pay tribute to Jigme Darji Wangchuck, the third king of Bhutan. Inside it there are various paintings and statues that reflect the Buddhist philosophy.
8. Thimpur Weekend Market
Thimpur weekend market is a pleasant and attractive place for shopping. This market is famous for handicrafts and antique jewellery. Besides, the exquisite craftsmanship of Bhutan's traditional handwoven cloths, wooden items and carpets will make your sweet heart dance. A handicraft fair is held here for the purpose of tourists. It is a place to enjoy walking. Traditional masks of various shapes are one of the attractions here.
9. Thasingang
It is the largest district in Bhutan. The dejungs here were built in the 17th century. Thasingang is also known as Gumpha Nagar of Buddhist monks and nuns. When you visit this place, you will notice how deeply the monks immerse themselves in religious practice.
10. Punakha
Punakha is located 70 km from Thimphu city. Apart from natural beauty, this Punakha is adorned with traditional craftsmanship. If the sky is clear, you can easily see the Himalayas from here. Punakha is the most fertile valley in Bhutan. The Punakha Jung, Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers flow through it. Punakha, dressed like Lakshmi Maiden along the Pho Chu (Father) and Mo Chu (Mother) rivers, is now the winter capital of Bhutan. 11. Bumthang
Bumthang is said to be the spiritual heartland of Bhutan. Because, the most important dzongs, temples and mahals of Bhutan are located in this area. Here you can see Wangdicholing Palace, Jambe Lakhang Temple, and the biggest Bhutanese temple, Jakar. A short distance away is the hot spring area. The path is very beautiful. Balu sheep, musk deer, Himalayan bear can be seen in this area.

Citizens of SAARC countries do not require a visa to visit Bhutan. Just buy the ticket and go. Upon landing at Paro, the country's only airport, you will be welcomed into their country with a port entry. Druk Airways is their only airline and only Druk Airways should fly there from Bangladesh. The price of the ticket is about 23 thousand rupees. If you plan to go by road, you must first obtain an Indian transit visa. Because from Bangladesh you have to enter Bhutan through India. It is important to note that Dhaka-Burimari-Dhaka return bus ticket must be submitted along with the application form for transit visa application. SR Travels (AC) bus leaves for Burimari from Dhaka daily at 8:30 pm.
If you are traveling by road then after reaching Burimari from Dhaka you have to take another bus/sumo jeep to Jaigaon border. After all the formalities, you will enter Phuentsholing, Bhutan. Then your journey to Thimpu or Paro. Only citizens of SAARC countries have no obligation to spend there. For citizens of other countries of the world, it is mandatory to spend two hundred dollars per day while staying in Bhutan.
