Look at the careers of others and think about how you are doing compared to them

The Dhaka Times Desk I would say you are on the right track if you notice, what are the successful people around you doing and what are you doing compared to them? Such thinking will go a long way in changing your lifestyle. Suppose you are 26 years old. You see a 22 year old graduate working in a good company. Many people who are a little younger or older than you are the CEO of some company. They have improved their lives in a very short period of time.

Now think about your career. What are you doing now? Are they behind or ahead? If you are lagging, find out why you are lagging behind and the root cause. One of the main reasons why you are behind is that you have not been able to use your time properly. Ask yourself why you couldn't. You will get the answer. Many may say that poverty prevented them from building a good career. Remember being born poor is not a sin but dying poor is a big sin.

As long as you don't compare yourself with others, you can't have a good career. Because if you don't compare yourself with others, you won't get a proper idea about your current situation. Now ask yourself can you not be like them? Make yourself confident. If you believe in yourself, you can do anything. After starting some work, you see that you are not getting any good results despite your hard work. So you are thinking of giving up. But those who thrive in their careers are never so successful all at once. They have developed their career through many efforts.

Professor Zafar Iqbal Sir said, “You try to make a number all night and you can't match it in the end. Now you think there is no use in wasting time and sleep by staying up all night. In the morning, while doing other numbers, you can see that you can solve it very easily. How can you do that? Now the main reason to be able to solve other numbers easily is because of that massive effort at night. The way you put your brain to work at night is now reaping the benefits. So if you want to change yourself, compare your lifestyle with successful people and start acting accordingly. Never get ripped off. Go ahead with confidence.
But one day you can leave all those successful people behind and build your proper career.
