5 'Travel Movies' for Travelers

The Dhaka Times Desk Countless travel movies have been made in this genre. Everyone likes different movies. As can be seen, the movie I put at the top of my list of favourites; It does not count any other movie lovers! That's normal. Likeability is a kind of relativity. Which has no definite definition, nor is there supposed to be. I have written short reviews (not exactly reviews in that sense. more like 'story introductions' in the reader's understanding) of some of the best 'travel movies' I have ever seen. Today is the first episode of the travel movie. Next episode another day.

Movies that will make your shoes stick to your feet like sticky chewing gum and the constant vision of overcoming adversity will unknowingly take root in your mind. The 'travel bug' will always buzz inside the head and the intense desire to know the unknown..

1. Into the Wild (2007)

In the beginning, the movie 'Into the Wild' (2007) came up. After graduation, family, home, urban comforts, etc. are almost all the sticks and choose the vagabond life of a determined adventure-loving youth. Alone, for the sake of the unknown, in close proximity to nature.. the 'supertramp' who desperately wants freedom from the rote sociality of society. A movie that leaves a deep impression on the mind.

2. The Motorcycle Diaries (2004)

Then there is the name of the movie 'The Motorcycle Diaries' (2004). This is the biography of the great revolutionary Che Guevara. During that time, Che, a medical student, travels around South America on a motorcycle with his biochemist friend Granado. The motorcycle is broken, there is no money in the pocket, but the friend's journey continues month after month. An excellent movie starring favorite actor Gael García Bernal.

3. Kon Tiki (2012)

Next can be mentioned the movie 'Kon Tiki' (2012). It is the story of crossing the impassable ocean. A jaw-dropping movie. The movie tells the incredible story of a group of crazy explorers crossing a remote 4,300 mile stretch of the Pacific Ocean on only a wooden raft, which sounds like a fairy tale. A Scandinavian movie based on true events.

4. One Twenty Seven Hours (2010)

Almost many people have heard the name of the movie 'One Twenty Seven Hours' (2010). It is considered by many as the 'Best Survival Movie' in the travel genre. Togbog is about a young mountaineer trapped in a mountain trap, close encounters with death, and constant attempts to escape. The film reminds us of Sukanth's lines again and again. Movie directed by famous director Danny Boyle.

5. Goodbye Berlin (2016)

Then I brought up the German movie 'Goodbye Berlin' (2016). Its original name and pronunciation are very slurred and garbled. So I did not step in that direction. This is the story of two teenagers with different mindsets who steal a car and travel day and night across Germany in the green wilderness of cities and countryside and get a sudden touch of the quality of life in a chaotic point when they return home. A touching movie.

Finally, I say - watch the movie or not, go around when you have time. Go around and save money. Hang out with friends. Take your loved one to the mountains, mountains, seas, and the edge of the clouds. Explore new experiences. Breathe in the fragrance of the unscented grass and open your soul. And listen to non-stop music with your head on someone's shoulder. Let the two wires of the earphone keep swinging in the ears of two people in the spectral journey.
