There is a lot of skepticism among the general public about EVMs. As it is new in our country. Therefore, to raise awareness about this issue, an EVM exhibition fair was organized at the International Convention Center of the capital. The exhibition, organized by the Election Commission, showed the methods of voting by ordinary citizens using EVMs.
The visitors were informed about various aspects of EVM through a total of 18 stalls in the exhibition. It also shows how to vote through EVM.
Going to the stall, it can be seen that the national identity card will be required to vote in the EVM machine. Even if you don't have it, you can vote with your identity card number. Also, the voter's fingerprint will be required. After this step is completed, the voting machine will be activated. From there the voter can select his/her preferred candidate and brand. Voters will also get an opportunity to correct mistakes in this case. However, after the second selection, there will be no chance to change the selection. In this way EVM can be used in a very simple manner.
