The Dhaka Times Desk Just thinking about space makes my head spin. How billions of planets and stars are scattered in space. We live on a small planet in the solar system called Earth. Sometimes different planets visit the solar system. Now scientists have discovered the most distant pink planet in the solar system.

For a long time, scientists have seen pink light at the far end of the solar system. But in no way could he know the real reason of that mystery. Recently the secret of that light has been discovered. Astronomer Scott S. Sheppard of the Carnegie Institution of Washington discovered this pink planet. His collaborators were Professor David Tholen of the University of Hawaii and Professor Char Trujillo of Northern Arizona University.
The combined efforts of these three people named the planet that was discovered as 'Farout'. The distance of the earth from the sun is about 15 million kilometers. And this planet is located about 120 times the distance of Earth from the Sun. It is the most distant planet discovered in the solar system so far.
The icy planet orbits the Sun very slowly. After research, scientists say that this planet has been orbiting the sun for about 1000 years. The International Astronomical Union's Minor Planet Center recently revealed the existence of this planet. The scientific name of this planet has been given as 2018-VG-18. Eris was the most distant planet in the solar system previously discovered. It is about 96 times the Earth's distance from the Sun. However, Farout is the most distant planet currently discovered.
According to NASA data, modern spacecraft take 9 years to reach Pluto. Since Farout is 3.5 times farther than Pluto, it will take about 31 years to reach Farout.
Scientists think that because it is so far from the Sun and because of its slow rotation, it has so much ice on its surface. The team of scientists discovered another planet named 'The Goblin' in October.
In this way, as time goes by, new planets and stars will be discovered. Along with that we can also know the secrets of space.
