Hero Alam, contesting as an independent candidate for the much-discussed Bogra-4 seat, expressed his anger in a video after his loss. He claimed that if the elections were fair, his victory would have been assured.

On the night of December 30, in response to the questions of journalists, Hero Alam said, 'I did not lose in the voting field. If there was a fair election, I would not have been beaten. Then I thought I was zero. As my workers were not allowed to stay in the polling station, the voters were not allowed to vote. They didn't let me in either, I'm not a zero in that place; I must be a hero.'

Hero Alam also said, 'Why did not let the agents stay? What is the reason, where Awami League's boat marker candidate is, Hero Alam's agents are not allowed to enter there, Hero Alam is also beaten by them. Then I think I am stronger than Awami League in that place.'

Hero Alam, the much-discussed independent candidate, has also raised the demand for fresh voting in that 4 minute and 12 second video.
