1. Don't give preference to stubbornness

When your child persists, don't look away. That is, you will act as if you are not seeing anything. If you do this for a few days, he will slowly stop insisting.

2. Don't give him what he insists on

Do not give him the thing that he insists on getting. Instead, convince him that he did not get the item because of his insistence. And even if it is given later, he should not think that it was given to him because of his insistence.

3. Keep yourself calm:

Parents have to keep their cool when the child insists on getting something. Never get angry in such a situation. This can make the results worse.

4. Don't be afraid

Many parents get scared when their child starts to be stubborn. He thinks that if his needs are not fulfilled, what will he do? Don't even think like that. If you make arrangements to give him the object of his demand, he will continue to insist on even the smallest things later on.

5. Try to focus on something else:

When your child starts to get angry and stubborn, try to tactfully divert his attention to other things. But don't direct her attention to something else. In front of him you start discussing with someone else about another subject or doing some other thing that is dear to him. Then you will see that he will stop insisting and start talking about the subject.

6. Explain the disadvantages of insistence:

When your child is in a good mood, explain the downside of being stubborn. Explain to him what everyone thinks of him if he insists, how much his parents suffer because of his insistence, etc. Also why was he not given what he insisted on. Explain it.

7. Don't be sarcastic

Sometimes when children start to insist, cry or scream, don't forget to ridicule their behavior. This will increase his insistence. Rather, when he starts insisting, no one will look at him.
