The Dhaka Times Desk Another new 4G smartphone has been released in the market by the domestic technology manufacturer Walton. The model of which is 'Primo HEAT'. The attractively designed smartphone will be available in two different variants of 2GB and 3GB RAM.
In this regard, Asifur Rahman Khan, Head of Walton Cellular Phone Sales Division, said that the 3GB RAM version of the Primo HAT phone was released in the market last March on the occasion of Independence Day. Walton brought another version of 2 GB RAM this month due to huge customer demand. The 3GB and 2GB versions of the smartphone are priced at Tk 7,999 and Tk 7,099 respectively.
According to Walton sources, this smartphone uses IPS technology 18:9 ratio full-view display. The resolution of the 5.45-inch HD Plus screen is 1440 by 720 pixels. Featuring a capacitive touch screen, this new smartphone also has a dust and scratch resistant 2.5D curved glass. Because of this, customers will get a unique experience in using various applications and watching videos, playing games, reading books or browsing the Internet.
'Primo HEAT' will run on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. Due to which the performance and speed of this phone is very high. The new smartphone uses a 1.28 GHz quad-core processor. Also has Power VR GE8100 graphics. Due to which various apps usage, internet browsing, 3D gaming and fast video loading and lag-free video streaming facilities will also be available. The internal memory of the smartphone is 16 GB. Which can be increased up to 64 GB via micro SD card.
On the back of this new smartphone is an 8-megapixel Sony camera with LED flash, which can capture Full HD videos. The front of the mobile has an 8-megapixel omnivision camera for attractive selfies. In addition to normal mode, its camera has many interesting features including pro mode, face beauty, face detection, digital zoom, self-timer, touch-focus, auto-focus, HDR, panorama, scene mode, finger capture.
A 3200 mAh lithium polymer battery is used in this new smartphone for adequate power backup. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth version 4, micro USB version 2, wireless display, LAN hotspot, OTA and OTG. Sensors include Gravity (3D), GPS, A-GPS, Proximity, Light (Brightness) etc. The security of this new smartphone includes face unlock and fingerprint sensor. A screen lock password can also be provided on the smartphone.
This new handset has been launched in the market in 3 attractive colors Midnight Blue, Rose Gold and Twilight Blue. Its other features include dual SIM 4G network support, FM radio with recording facility, notification light, full HD video playback etc.
This domestically manufactured Walton smartphone also has a special replacement facility. It has been informed that if a defect is detected within 30 days of purchasing the smartphone, the buyer will be given a new phone by changing the phone. Buyers of this phone will get after sales service within 48 hours on priority basis within 101 days. Moreover, there is a one-year after-sales service on the smartphone and 6 months on the battery and charger.
