According to media reports, Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei has compared his company to a crashed airplane. He said that they could not have predicted that the US government would take such strict action against the Huawei company.
Currently, Huawei is the world's largest telecom equipment manufacturer. Not only that, their position is second in the world as a smartphone manufacturer.
The BBC reported that the new US law prohibits any American company or any company that uses American technology from doing business with Huawei.
Huawei's mobile handset sales have dropped by 40 percent in the last one month due to such strict laws. Ren Zhengfei said they will reduce their production by 3 trillion dollars.
Note that Samsung sells the most mobile handsets in the world market. It is followed by Huawei and Apple's iPhone in the third place. Their market is gradually developing in all the continents of the world.
The United States has argued that Huawei's equipment could be used by Chinese authorities for surveillance, although Huawei has repeatedly denied any such concerns.
However, due to the US ban, several countries and international companies have already banned the use of Huawei's 5G technology. Google has already said that some of its app updates will not be available on Huawei mobile phones. On the other hand, two Japanese companies said that they will not sell Huawei handsets at all.
