The Dhaka Times Desk Pakistani Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousuzai has lost her job because of her hijab. Malala is teaching in Quebec, Canada.

Quebec's Department of Education recently announced that employees cannot come to work wearing anything with religious symbols. However, it has also been reported that Malala will be able to join the workplace if she leaves the hijab. Apart from teachers, police officers and lawyers are also covered under this Act.
One of the symbols of Islam is 'Hijab'. Malala Usuzai wears a hijab. While wearing hijab, she taught in the Canadian province of Quebec. For that reason, according to the new law, he is prohibited from teaching in Quebec under that guise.
Such a law has been passed to maintain secularism, said the Minister of Education of Quebec, John Francois Robarjo.
He also said that we will be honored if Malala teaches in Quebec. But in any liberal, tolerant country, there should be no example of teachers working with a religious symbol.
After the law was passed, the Minister of Education of Quebec met Malala on a trip to France. Later, when a picture of them went viral, the education minister was also criticized.
