Former President and National Party Chairman H. M. Ershad passed away inna lillahi wa inna ilahi rajyun. He passed away at Dhaka Combined Military Hospital today (Sunday) at 8 am. He was 90 years old at the time of his death. President, Prime Minister and Speaker have expressed grief over Ershad's death. His funeral will be held at Bad Zohar Sena Central Mosque.
