Winter is the best time for camping in Bangladesh. "Where to camp?" This is an important question. But the fact is, you can camp anywhere you like. Usually the areas around char, river bank, sea shore, dense forest or beel are very popular for camping. Let's know about some of the most popular places for camping in Bangladesh. Today is part 2.

Kutubdia Island

Kutubdia Island is located in Cox's Bazar. Kutubdia is an island upazila of Cox's Bazar with an area of 216 square kilometers full of variety. Bangladesh's largest wind farm, beach, salt farm, lighthouse and Qutb Auliya (r.h.) shrine are located on this island. Many choose this island for quiet beach camping. There is no doubt about security here.

tindu

It is located in Thanchi Upazila of Bandarban District. Tindu is called as the heaven of Bangladesh. Clouds, rivers, mountains, waterfalls and thrills combine to make Tindu a mystery to adventure-loving travelers. You can easily spend a night watching the magnificence of Tindur on the banks of Sankh river. If you want to go camping here, you have to take everything you need with you.

Sandwip

Sandwip is an island upazila located in the Meghna river estuary of Chittagong. The unspoilt green fields, the river bed or the simple people of the island, in a word, everything about this island is a place to like. Also surrounded by the Sagar River, this island has various heritage sites to visit. The most ideal place for camping is the river bank (Rahmatpur) on the west side of Sandwip.

Hazarikhil Sanctuary

It can be seen that many times due to camping gear, even if you want to, you have to deprive yourself of staying overnight in the diversity of Nijhum forest. However, various camping equipments are available on rent at Hazarikhil Sanctuary in Fatikchari, Chittagong. Even if you have your own camp gear, you can contact the authorities and get necessary help.

Nafakhum

Nafakhum is the name of one of the biggest waterfalls in Bangladesh located in Remakri Union of Thanchi Upazila of Bandarban District. The rainbow plays in the sunlight in the water vapor of the fast-flowing water of this Nafakhum, known as the Niagara of Bengal. To go to Nafakhum you must take the help of a guide. Along with that, all camping materials should be taken.

Char kukri mukri

This Char Kukri Mukri is located at the mouth of Kol Ghesha Meghna river in Bay of Bengal, about 120 km from Bhola district town. It is well known as one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in Bangladesh. Cox's Bazar/Kuakata beach atmosphere can be found at Balur Dhoom in this char. From the quiet and pristine beach of Char Kukri Mukri, one can enjoy the magnificent view of sunrise and sunset. Winter is a perfect time for camping here.

Mahamaya Lake

Mahamaya, one of the artificial heart of Bangladesh located at Mirsrai in Chittagong also has special camping opportunities. You can book the camping by paying a certain fee to the authority. A minimum of 4 people can camp at this place out of a maximum of 30 people. There is also a facility for boating and kayaking in the lake.
