One lakh doses of corona vaccine will be produced in the first few months. Millions of doses will be produced from next year.
The Russian Minister of Industry said that a vaccine innovation company has taken the initiative to set up production technology in 3 places in central Russia.
It is known that the clinical trial of this Gamalya vaccine is being financed by the Russian Direct Investment Fund. The head of the organization, Kirill Dmitriev, said that he is hopeful that the registration of the vaccine will be completed within the next 10 days.
Dimitriev also said that if it happens in the next 10 days, we will be ahead not only of the United States, but also of other countries. Because this will be the first registered vaccine for the corona virus.
Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said on Saturday that Siberia-based Vector Lab is developing another vaccine. It is now in clinical trials. In the next two months, it will be tested in humans.
Gamalera's vaccine is a so-called viral vector vaccine. It essentially inserts the DNA encoding another virus into the body. which is essential for cell immunity. It is developed on the basis of adenovirus itself. China's Cansino has developed a prototype of a corona vaccine with similar technology.
