How this 'super chat' works
When a content creator goes live, you as a viewer will see a 'cash symbol' or dollar symbol next to the chat window. By clicking there, a certain amount of money can be paid to the video creator and in exchange for this money, the comments will be on top of everyone. Also, the color of the comments made in exchange of money will be completely different, so that it is easily seen by the content creator.
On the other hand, if the person coming live clicks on the 'Super Chat' option, he will see all the comments made in exchange of money together. This will make it very easy to reply to those comments. But it is not that you are obliged to reply to comments on Super Chat. It totally depends on the content creator.
But you must pay to use Super Chat as a visitor. Your comments will stay on top for at least 5 hours on any live. How long a comment stays pinned depends on how much you pay. Remember that you can't make any comments on any live. The reason is that content creators can blacklist some keywords if they want. Even if you want to use such keywords, it will not be possible anymore.
Who will get this super chat money?
YouTube authorities said that most of the Super Chat money will go to content creators. It is basically considered as another means of making money from YouTube. However, some money from Super Chat is naturally taken by YouTube authorities.
When will Super Chat be launched in Bangladesh?
There is no information yet on when Super Chat will be launched in Bangladesh. Meanwhile, it is not yet certain whether the YouTube authority will launch the feature in another country or not. However, technology related people think that the super chat feature will be launched in Bangladesh soon. It can be a new way of income for the popular YouTubers of Bangladesh.
