The Dhaka Times Desk A mysterious monolith has disappeared from the state of Utah, USA. This long and shiny silvery metallic piece was seen as a proof of alien life coming to earth.
The state's Bureau of Land Management (BLM) announced the move on Saturday. The agency said on Facebook that an unknown party removed the monolith on Friday night. The 'monolith', illegally placed on BLM's Ejmali land, is said to have been removed. But that 'private property' was not removed by the BLM.
Officials from the state's Bureau of Public Safety and Aeronautics first spotted the monolith on Nov. 18. At the time they were counting bighorn sheep with another company by helicopter.
To them, the structure looked like a set of aliens from the movie '2001: A Space Odyssey'. The monolith is placed in the middle of a red stone. Which height was about 10 to 12 feet.
One of the team said he thought a fan of the movie '2001: A Space Odyssey' could relate to the installation of the monolith. However, the famous 1968 movie featured a black monolith.
Last Monday, the Utah Department of Public Safety said in a statement, "No matter what planet you come from," this is an illegal installation. After a few days, the metal fragment disappeared.
But the authorities never officially said where the monolith was. According to them, this would increase travel to the remote area. In case of an accident, rescue will be almost impossible. Nevertheless, some people discovered the place.
It should be noted that the arrival of aliens on earth happens occasionally. Researchers provide different proofs at different times. But its real mystery still remains a mystery.
