On Tuesday, 10,000 people demonstrated in the country's capital city. Laxman Ramsal, a member of the regional legislature, said they would continue the protest until the decision was withdrawn.
The Communist Party of Nepal is currently divided into two factions, Oli and Prachanda. In early December, Ollie announced that he was unable to work.
