Indonesia's National Search and Rescue Agency said pieces of the plane's wreckage were recovered from the sea in the Thousand Islands area. Work has started again from this morning.
At the moment, the Jakarta administration has sent 10 ships to carry out rescue operations. Navy divers were also dropped. Fragments of the recovered wreckage are being examined.
Sriwijaya Airlines flight SJ 182 left for Pontianak from Jakarta's Sokrano-Hatta Airport at noon the previous day (Saturday).
