Many frauds are currently happening with the so-called Quick Response Code (QR Code). For example, many times you may be asked on WhatsApp to scan this code. Once you do that, all of your information will go to someone who wants to hack or steal information. You won't even understand then. Through this, you will not be surprised if the money in your account goes to the account of those fraudsters!
To avoid falling into such traps, you must never share your card number, expiry date, PIN, OTP etc. with anyone. Imagine you've been sent a message via text or email (that you don't think is fake at all). There you are told that you have won the lottery of 10 thousand rupees. Enter your UPI pin to get it. After that the money will go to your account. Now your QR code will be scanned with that UPI PIN. After doing this you think that it seems that the money has been transferred to your account.
But whenever you gave your PIN, instead of the money going into your account, your money went into their account. So be careful. The less QR code can be used, the better.
