Droplets of 5 to 10 microns are considered large and droplets less than that are considered small. But science says that smaller droplets are actually more dangerous. So whether it is possible to prevent these droplets in the same way even if you wear a cloth, silk or N Ninety Five mask?
The researchers' answer is that surgical masks are the most effective in this case. If the mask can be worn for several hours at a time, such as by health workers or workers associated with emergency services, it will have positive results. Apart from this, masks made of hybrid polymers are also very effective, according to this study.
