The notification regarding this strict lockdown has been issued on Wednesday (June 30).
The notification states to open or close under strict lockdown:
It has been said that the banking services will continue, but the banks will discuss with Bangladesh Bank about how long the services will be continued.
Law and order and emergency services:
Such as agricultural products and inputs (fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, agricultural machinery etc.) transportation of food grains and foodstuffs, relief distribution, health services, covid-19 vaccination, revenue collection related functions, electricity, water, gas/fuel, fire service, telephone And internet service will be open. In addition, employees of offices and vehicles related to private security systems, postal services, pharmacies and emergency goods and services can travel by displaying institutional identity cards. Media workers can follow proper hygiene rules without any restrictions.
Instructions have been given to keep the industries running under their own management. Besides, the raw market and daily necessities will be open from 9 am to 5 pm.
Food shops, hotel restaurants can sell food from 8 am to 8 pm. But no one can sit and eat inside the hotel. International flights will continue.
Which will be closed in this strict lockdown
Government, semi-government, autonomous and private offices will remain closed during this strict lockdown. Public transport by road, rail and sea and domestic air traffic will remain suspended.
All shops including shopping malls will be closed. Tourist centers, resorts, community centers and entertainment centers will remain closed. All public gatherings and social events (birthday celebrations, weddings, picnics) will be closed. Can't leave the house.
Things to do to prevent Corona virus
# stay at home all the time.
# Follow the rules and use mask when going out for emergency.

# wash clothes after coming home from outside. Or hang it without shaking for at least four hours.
