The ultimatum of the 18 teams is coming again to the supervisor's demand

The Dhaka Times Desk BNP-led 18-party alliance is soon going to give a new ultimatum demanding to bring back the caretaker government system.

The 18-party alliance will periodically hold rallies in seven divisions across the country to form public opinion in favor of the BNP and the failure of the government along with the demands of the caretaker government. BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will address these gatherings as the chief guest. From the rally, he will give an ultimatum to the government to bring back the caretaker. 18 parties will demand to reintroduce the supervisory system by passing the bill in the parliament. These decisions were taken from a meeting at the BNP Chairperson's political office in Gulshan last night.

According to the sources of the meeting, 18 parties will give this ultimatum to pass the bill to bring back the caretaker government system in the parliament session to be held next September. They have decided to announce a tough program if the caretaker government is not brought back.

Regarding the rally, it is known from the sources of the meeting that 18 party alliances will hold a rally in 5 divisions of 7 divisions before the next Eid al-Adha. These divisions are Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur. On the other hand, they will hold rallies in Dhaka and Chittagong after Eid al-Adha.

Meanwhile, the meeting discussed holding a protest program on the demand of the supervisor this month. A strike was also discussed if the protest program was prevented.

Incidentally, the BNP-led 18-party coalition is tired of giving ultimatums to the caretaker government. In the past, the government has threatened to carry out various tough programs including ultimatums of 48 hours.

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia chaired the Sunday meeting attended by BNP Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Dhaka Metropolitan Jamaat Assistant Secretary Abdul Halim, Kalyan Party Chairman Major General (Retd.) Syed Md. Ibrahim, BJP Chairman Barrister Andalib Rahman Parth, Islami Oikyazot Chairman Abdul Latif Nezami, NPP Chairman Shawkat Hossain Nilu, Jagpa President Shafiul Alam Pradhan, Labor Party Chairman Dr. Mostafizur Rahman Iran and others.

It is to be noted that the 18-party alliance failed to meet the demand even after giving an ultimatum against the government in May. From the last meeting on Sunday, it was decided to give an ultimatum to the government to bring back the caretaker.
