Grameenphone launches 'GP Academy' in partnership with Telenor and Cisco

The academy will help prepare the youth by imparting skills for the digital future. The newly established GP Academy aims to prepare the promising young generation of Bangladesh for the future. GP Academy's programs and courses are designed to enhance career readiness of the youth, hone entrepreneurial skills and help them acquire the necessary skills to prepare for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Through the 'GP Explorers' programme, Grameenphone University has been upskilling students for the past two years. Now through GP Academy, the organization aims to expand the skills of the youth across the country. GP Academy's programs for career starters are designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and professional fields and prepare students for the future by helping them acquire essential and 4th Industrial Revolution skills.

In addition, GP Academy courses will help young people develop academic knowledge along with other future-useful skills to prepare them to enter the next level of their career.

The Chief Guest of the event, Executive Chairman (Secretary) National Skills Development Authority (NSDA) Dulal Krishna Saha expressed his full support for this unique initiative of Grameenphone. Such initiatives in the private sector will be effective in upskilling the youth and preparing them for the real world of work.'
