The Dhaka Times Desk 85.95 percent of the students have passed the short syllabus HSC and equivalent exams at the end of the academic year which was delayed due to the covid epidemic and floods.
After a long wait, 1 lakh 76 thousand 282 of these students who crossed the twelfth standard and entered the university education level got GPA 5, which is seen as 17.42 percent of the total number of passers.
The 2021 HSC exam was also delayed due to the pandemic. Exams were also conducted on a reduced, shorter syllabus for services. 95.26 percent students passed it. 1 lakh 1 lakh 89 thousand 169 people got GPA-5.
Accordingly, the pass rate in the 2022 examination has decreased by 9.31 percentage points. The number of students who got GPA-5 decreased by 12 thousand 887 people.
In 2020 there was no exam due to the pandemic. Based on the results of JSC and SSC, everyone passed the evaluation, 1 lakh 61 thousand 807 people got GPA-5.
In 2019, before the start of the pandemic, 73.93 percent of the students passed the higher secondary and equivalent exams. Out of which a total of 47 thousand 286 students got five out of five GPA.
Education Minister Dipu Moni along with the chairmen of all education boards first presented the summary of the HSC exam results of 2022 to the head of government in a ceremony at the Prime Minister's office today (Wednesday).
Education Minister Dipu Moni gave details of this year's results through a press conference at the International Mother Language Institute at 12:30 pm.
The result is known on the website of the education board and through SMS. Also, the results are being collected from examination centers and self-education institutions.
How to know the result
If you want to know the result through SMS on mobile phone, write HSC with a space, write the first three letters of the name of the education board with a space, then write the roll number, write 2022 with a space and send it to 16222 (eg HSC Dha 123456 2022 send to 16222). Then the result will be available in the return SMS. On the other hand, to get Alim result, write ALIM with space, write Mad with space, write roll number with space, write 2022 with space and send SMS to 16222. Also in case of technical board write HSC with space then write Tec with space then write roll number write 2022 with space and send it to 16222 number and result will be informed by return sms.
According to board sources, institution-wise result sheets can be downloaded with the EIIN of the educational institution by clicking on the result corner on the board's website (www.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd). And by clicking on www.educationboardresults.gov.bd website, the result sheet can also be downloaded with roll and registration number.
