Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) received the ISO certificate from Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) at the conference room of the Ministry of Industries in Dhaka on Tuesday in recognition of quality management and supporting its members in business expansion and capacity building at home and abroad.
On behalf of BASIS, BASIS Vice-President (Administration) Abu Dawood Khan received the certificate from Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmood Humayun. State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumdar and Secretary of the Ministry of Industries Zakia Sultana were present as special guests in this event.
This certificate is awarded to BASIS members in recognition of their capacity building, quality improvement, networking to support business expansion at home and abroad and achieve business excellence.
Abu Daud Khan, Vice-President (Administration), BASIS, expressed happiness at receiving the certification, saying it is proof of the organization's commitment to ensure the highest level of quality in all aspects of its management and operations. This certificate will further strengthen the position of Basis. BASIS has been working tirelessly to develop the software and technology industry in Bangladesh for more than two decades.
