The number plate of that car has only one English letter and one number. That is 'P7'. This information has been given in a report of Hindustan Times.
According to the report, not only 'P7', but some other special number plates like AA19, AA22, AA80, O71, Q222 were also sold in that event. The price of that number plate rose to 5.5 million dirhams at the auction. Entrepreneurs claim that this is the most expensive number plate in the world.
This number plate is included in the Guinness Book of Records for selling at a record price. In the beginning, the price of this number plate was one and a half million dirhams. Within seconds, that rate rose to 3.5 million dirhams. Pavel Valerievich Durov, the owner of the Telegram app, wanted to buy the number plate at this price.
However, a person who did not want to be named, beat that price and bought the number plate for 5.5 million dirhams. The AA19 number plate was sold for 4.9 million dirhams, the O71 was sold for 1.5 million dirhams and the Q22222 number plate was sold for 1.5 million dirhams. Note that in 2016, the 'D5' number plate was sold for Tk 73 crore. In 2022, AA8 number plate was sold for 78 crores, in 2021, AA9 was sold for 84 crores, in 2008, the price of P1 number increased to 116 crores. And this time P7 number surpassed that record too.
