Her name is Chana Nachenberg. He was the victim of a suicide bombing at a pizza restaurant in Jerusalem on August 9, 2001. BBC gave this information in a report on June 1.
According to a BBC report, Chana Nachenberg was 31 years old when the attack was carried out 22 years ago at Saro Pizzeria in Jerusalem. 15 people including 7 children and a pregnant woman were killed in that attack. Apart from him, two other US citizens were killed in that attack.
An Israeli court sentenced a woman named Ahlam Tamimi to 16 years in prison in 2004 for her involvement in the attack. He was born in the West Bank and held Jordanian citizenship. He was released as part of a plea deal in 2011.
It later emerged that a man named Izz al-Din Shuhail al-Masri carried out the attack. Tamimi helped the attacker. After his release, he settled permanently in Jordan. Tamimi himself said that he is not sorry for the terrible attack but rather proud. It is known that Tamimi's name is also on the FBI's most wanted terrorist list.
The Saro restaurant that was attacked is located in a busy area of West Jerusalem. There were many people in the restaurant at the time of the attack. Local authorities claimed that Tamimi and Masri entered the restaurant on August 9, 2001 and carried out a suicide attack.
