As of last 9 months, 19 lakh 30 thousand cows and buffaloes entered Bangladesh legally through 31 corridors of the Indian border. BGB told the media that so many cows and buffaloes have never been imported in the past. A lot of cows have come illegally without using the corridor and no account can be found.
It is known that the amount of imports was very high in the last one month. Concerned people think that the import of cattle has increased due to Eid al-Adha.

But the sellers are charging too much. That's why many buyers went to market yesterday and returned without buying cows. Many think that the price of cattle may decrease later. Moreover, most of the buyers are returning only after seeing the price. That's why there is a lot of crowd going to the cow market in the capital. But after talking to the buyers, it was found that there is no sale. Buyers are only buying the price of the cow. The main trading will start next Monday and Tuesday, the day before Eid.
