The main opposition party BNP has decided to reject the Prime Minister's proposal to form an all-party government during the election period in his address to the nation on Friday. They will give an official response after a meeting with the leaders of the 18-party alliance on Sunday night.

BNP has announced the program of protest marches and rallies in districts across the country today in protest against the ban on gatherings and gatherings in Dhaka. BNP has decided to give strict program including hartal if the program is obstructed.

These decisions were taken at the meeting of the National Standing Committee, the highest policy-making forum of the party, on Saturday. At the end of the meeting, the acting general secretary of the party Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced this program in a press briefing. At the press briefing at the beginning of the meeting, Mirza Fakhrul said that the government has indulged in a conspiracy to kill democracy by banning gatherings.

According to the media, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia held a meeting with the top leaders at the Gulshan office on Saturday night from 8:00 to 9:30. The meeting discussed the Prime Minister's proposal for an all-party government, the ban on public gatherings in the capital, the public meeting on October 25 and the National Convention of the Combined Professional Council today. It is said that it was decided to convene professionals in the meeting and attend Khaleda Zia.
