It has been reported that it will be possible to easily power portable electronic devices like cell phones, tablet PCs with this electricity.
However, these 4 students of the mechanical engineering department of Rice University in Houston, America did not stop here. They say, with the welfare of this shoe, it will be possible to supply energy to the equipment used in life saving work in the future. How will electricity be created?
The names of these 4 students are Carrios Armada, Julian Castro, David Morelsna and Taylor West. Previous attempts have been made to generate electricity from shoes, using the motion of the knee. But these 4 students chose Pak instead. They found that most force is exerted on the heel during walking. So they chose this part of the leg to generate electricity. He put the electricity generating device in the heel of the shoe.
In this way, the electricity generating shoes named PedIPower were made. This shoe generates 400 milliwatts of electricity. This electricity is stored in the battery pack attached to the waist through the cable.
However, all the problems of this shoe have not been solved yet. The test shoe is quite large in size. Can't move around after every day.
The students think that another team from the same university will choose this shoe as their project next fall and solve all the shoe problems. At the same time, these shoes will become suitable for work in Atpur and will be made commercially.
