The Dhaka Times Desk The 18 party unity alliance led by BNP-Jamaat has again called a 72-hour blockade from Saturday. A 72-hour blockade program will be observed across the country from 6 am today to 6 am next Tuesday.
Joint Secretary General from BNP central office on Friday Ruhul Kabir Rizvi BNP announced this party program on behalf of 18 parties in a press briefing. Meanwhile Ruhul Kabir RidgeV said, "18 parties will observe a 72-hour blockade program from 6 am on Saturday, in protest against the schedule announced by the Election Commission for the one-sided election of the government, and the arrest and remand of 18 party leaders, including the BNP, and the filing of false cases against the leaders. The program has been announced.”
Ruhul Kabir Rizvi He further said, “The government itself is setting fire to various places and killing people, but is blaming 18 parties including BNP. The government is carrying out house-to-house police raids across the country of the leaders of 18 parties, including the BNP, and arresting the women of the families if the leaders are not found.”
