These disappearances are not only happening in the capital Dhaka, but these disappearances are now happening in other cities as well. Earlier we got news about Rajshahi and Natore incidents. Today I received the incident of Bogra. 9 people from Bogra have been missing for two months.

According to the news, 9 people have been missing for the last two months after they left their homes in the name of going to Malaysia at low cost from some villages of Shivganj in Bogra. Four members of the Dalal gang take them to smuggle them on board. The family members know nothing about their whereabouts, alive or dead. Someone is saying that they have been trafficked. Someone else says that he drowned in the sea. The brokers return to the area but are unable to locate them. At one point they went into hiding, but the families of the missing are being intimidated. The local administration and public representatives did not take any action to rescue them as the relatives did not file a complaint. The missing persons are Ahsan Habib (25) son of Afzal Hossain of Chalishchhatra village of Kichak Union of Shibganj, Saddam Hossain (20) son of Rabiul Islam, Jamal Uddin (21) son of Fazlu and Shah Jamal Akalu (28) son of Achir Uddin, Raja Miar of North Belai village. Son Raju Mia (22) and Fazlul Bari (28) son of Maqbul Hossain of Chalgari village, Faizer Ali (34) son of Habibur Rahman, Fazal Mia (25) and Zahidul Islam (35) of Bagzana Dargapara.

It is known that Mr. Ramzan Ali's son, Akbar Ali's son Delbar, Shah Alam and Mohammad Ali of the same area offered to send those 9 people to Malaysia with a salary of 20 thousand taka per month. In return, 30 thousand to 40 thousand taka is collected per person. They paid the money with great difficulty. They were supposed to be smuggled to Malaysia through Chittagong seaport. The brokers called them from their homes on the night of April 25. It was supposed to be contacted after reaching Malaysia three days later. But even after two months, the relatives did not find any trace of them. After 6-7 days Dalal Chakra member Mr. and Delbar returned to the area. They said that they were left in Chittagong. From there will go to Malaysia soon. When pressured, Dalal Delbar, Mister and Shah Alam went into hiding. From there, relatives started showing fear. The police threatened to bring the bodies of Ahsan, Jamal and others if they told the administration. Muhammad Ali later died of heart disease. Afzal Hossain, father of Ahsan Habib, told reporters that Mr. from the same village took his son away from home one night after promising him a job abroad with a hefty salary. After three days talk on mobile phone. Mr. had forbidden to tell anyone about the matter. Akalu's wife also made the same comment. She said that Mr. said to take her husband to Malaysia by ship. One night he left home with Mr. without informing him. The last two months are not finding the husband. Meanwhile, even after almost two months have passed, the relatives have become disoriented as 9 people have not been found. They believe they were trafficked by Mr, Delbar and others, members of the Dalal gang, or died in an accident while on the smuggling route. Dalal Muhammad Ali died of heart disease when riots started in the area. The missing family members have not reported the matter to the police till date fearing threats. The influential Matbars of the village also sided with the brokers. Fazlul Bari's father, Maqbul Hossain, who went missing 2-3 days ago, filed a GD at Shibganj police station. In this regard, Afzal Hossain, the Chairman of Kitchak Union, said on mobile phone that he heard 4-5 youths of the area going abroad through Dalal Mr. and Delbar. But there is no trace of them for the last two months. He could not take any action as there was no complaint from the family. Shibganj police station OC Habibur Rahman said that the police was sent to the village after receiving this information through the people. But nothing can be done due to family members not showing interest.
