Students and parents have complained that various colleges including City College, Public Rifles School and College, Rajuk Uttara, Dhaka College, Motijheel Ideal are not taking admissions as per the list published by the Education Board. In this case, students are suffering from various ironies. Students said that the colleges have resorted to various tricks. Among them, KO KO issues admission notification at short notice after publication of online application result. In this, many talented people with GPA 5 results from the village could not appear in the respective colleges on the scheduled day and time. Colleges are taking advantage of this opportunity. Students are being admitted from behind without complying with the list. Students are even being taken from the waiting list outside the main list. Government colleges are doing more of the work.
In this situation, the day of admission ends tomorrow, June 28. Classes for these students start on July 1. However, from June 29, the admission process will start for vacant seats. In a press release on June 26, the Dhaka Board said that the students who are not admitted to the colleges in which there are vacant seats will get the opportunity. If necessary, students will also get the opportunity to change department. Students are advised to download the roll number from the board website to get this facility.
Now the parents are worried about the admission problem. Because there are more talented students than the number of seats available for admission in good colleges. In that case, the parents are at a loss as to what will happen to the students with slightly worse results who are below A Plus.
