Recipe: Khasir Leg Roast

Roast mutton runs-1

Ingredients:

  • # sour yogurt 1 cup
  • # ginger, garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • # cumin batter 1 tsp

  • # almond batter 1 tbsp
  • # cardamom, cinnamon, long black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • # half cup of chopped onion
  • # Chili Sauce Quarter Cup
  • # Chilli Powder 2 tsp

  • # ghee 3 tbsp

    the method

    Wash the khasi run well. First, boil the khasir run sour curd, ginger-garlic batter, cumin batter, gur masala, all kinds of batter masala, chopped onion, oil, salt and water for 2 to 2 and a half hours on low flame. Scrape occasionally with a roasting fork/slicing spoon. When the flesh of the run becomes soft, remove it and place it in a dish. Now thicken the gravy with chili sauce and ghee. Pour the thick gravy over the run and put it in the oven or if you don't have an oven, burn the run well in the thick gravy and keep it simmering for a while. Remove from oven and serve hot before serving. Remember it will harden when cold.
