Ron Mueck started making these hyper-realistic sculptures from 1996. He is originally from Australia but lives and works on his hyper-realistic sculptures in the UK.
The first exhibition of Ron Mueck's surrealist sculptures was held in Japan in 2009. This was followed by an exhibition of his surrealist sculptures in Pennsylvania, USA. After that word of his very realistic sculpture spread around. He never looked back. One by one, exhibitions of Ron Mueck's surrealistic sculptures began to be held in various countries, including Australia, Canada, and the Netherlands.
Ron Mueck was a choreographer in his early professional life, after which he created children's programs for television. After the experience of working in various workplaces, he started making very realistic sculptures.
These very real sculptures made by Ron Mueck are so real that at first sight anyone will be puzzled if there is really a person standing in front of them!
