The Dhaka Times Desk The picnic bus is now in the state of a Saturn. After Benopole's accident, two more accidents took place. Recently 1 person died in a picnic bus accident in Eden this morning.
A pickup collided head-on with a picnic bus of students of Eden Women's College who were going on a picnic from the capital. The pickup driver was killed on the spot in the accident. 20 people including teachers and students were injured.
A picnic bus accident happened in front of Zafar Ahmed Degree College in Satkania on Chittagong-Cox's Bazar highway around 7:30 this Sunday morning. Pickup driver Nurul Aftab (25) died on the spot in the accident.
All the injured are reported to be out of danger. They were given necessary treatment at a local private hospital.
Earlier, 7 children of Benapole Primary School lost their lives in a tragic accident. On their way back from Mujib Nagar in Meherpur after a picnic, the tragic accident took place at a place called Jhautla in Chowagacha Upazila of Jessore and fell into a ditch.
Note that the picnic bus left the capital at around 10 pm on Saturday. The bus was going to Bandarban with teachers and students of philosophy department of Eden College.
