Beware: fancy fraud with advertisements that require female teachers!

The Dhaka Times Desk Various frauds are going on in Chittagong by advertising that women teachers are required through the media and talking about tuition. Police have arrested a man from Chittagong city on the charge of extorting money by calling schoolgirls on the promise of giving them tuition and forcibly taking their pictures.

A person named Faiz Ali (32) has been arrested by the Chittagong police administration on the charge of harassing girls by taking them to different hotels and taking pictures of them for giving tuition. Her job is to advertise the need for female teachers at the gates of various student hostels. Later, when the female students in that hostel called the advertised number, Faiz Ali would offer them a certain amount of money in exchange for their tuition.

He used to call the students who were interested in Faiz's proposal to introduce them for tuition on specific dates. However, instead of taking the victims for tuition, Faiz Ali took them to a pre-arranged hotel and forcibly took their pictures and called the families of the students threatening to publish those pictures. In this way, Faiz Ali was harassing many girls to get a cheating trap. After a few such incidents recently, when some students contacted the city detective police, an operation was launched to catch him.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of City Police (Investigation) Babul Akhtar  Said, "She used to put up posters in front of various women's hostels in the city advertising the recruitment of lady tutors. Contacting the poster's number would have started Faiz's cheating."

Various information about Faiz has been found, he used to give different identities in different places. He sometimes introduced himself as the Senior Judicial Magistrate of Lakshmipur and sometimes as a doctor. He also wrote on his Facebook ID that he is Police ASP, 30th batch.

It is being said by the administration that Faiz was cheating people in different ways with different identities. He used to stay free in various hotels in the city with police identity, and enjoyed various facilities.
