The Dhaka Times Desk This time a woman threw acid on the genitals of a bully. This incident took place in Kabiraghat village of Ruppur Union of Baliadangi Upazila of Thakurgaon last Monday. In this incident, the police arrested the woman for throwing acid.
The name of the acid burnt person is Khademul Islam. He is the son of a man named Alimuddin of the same village. Khademul Islam is an agricultural products trader by profession. The arrested woman said that Khademul Islam had been harassing her for a long time. Various immoral proposals were being made. He kept doing the same thing again and again even after he was repeatedly forbidden.
In this context, the woman also said, 'It started a conflict in her family. Everyone started blaming him. At one point, unable to bear it anymore, he did this. Before throwing acid, the woman called Khademul Islam and told him to come to her house, Khademul immediately agreed and rushed to the immoral proposal. Later after Khademul entered the woman's house, acid was poured on her genitals.
According to the OC of Baliadangi Police Station, Khademul Islam's screams were heard by the neighbors who rushed to rescue him and admitted him to the Upazila Health Complex. Later the police arrested the woman. It should be noted that the lower part of Khademul Islam's body, including his genitals, was severely burnt.
