But the Dhaka Metropolitan Traffic Police says that this barrier has been lifted temporarily due to some restrictions. It is said to be replaced on the road after the restrictions are removed. On May 23, Inspector General of Police Hasan Mahmud Khandkar inaugurated the installation of barriers on this VIP road in front of Ramna Park. The invention of this road barrier called Presham is in Bangladesh. How many cuts are placed transversely in it. The pressure of the wheels of the car coming in the straight line settles the cuts and the car can move freely. But if the car tries to go over these cuts in the opposite direction, the cuts will no longer sit and instead the car's wheels will leak. The cut of this device called resistance is 45 millimeters and about three inches high.
The Bangladesh Traffic Police planned to replace the device in other cities based on its success on Dhaka's roads. But last Friday, when an ambulance coming from Khulna had a punctured wheel, the patient had to suffer a lot on the road.
