The Dhaka Times Desk For those of you who love eating halwa, today we have the famous Neshesta's halwa recipe. Today we will know how to make Neshesta Halwa very easily.
Ingredients:
Semolina – 1 cup
Sugar – as much as possible
Food color – a little
Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Ghee – 1/2 cup
Rose water – 4 tbsp
Method:
- Soak semolina overnight with 4 cups of water.
- The top water should be thrown away in the morning.
- Again, grind semolina well with 3 cups of water.
- Now strain the water with a clean cloth.
– Neshesta's halwa is made with this filtered water.
- After taking the water from the chip, wash the rest of the semolina starch with 2 cups of water again.
- When semolina becomes like rubber, it should be thrown away.
- Now add water, sugar, curry, ghee, cardamom and rose water to the oven.
- Stir in the oven.
– You can use any food color if you wish.
– When the ghee rises on top of the halwa, take it down.
– Pour into a serving dish while still hot.
– When cool, cut into your desired shape.
