The Dhaka Times Desk Many of us do not know that we can share our computer's internet and use it on Android phones. This is known as reverse tethering.
For this method to work, you will first need a rooted Android phone. For rooting you will need the following software.

Now let's know how to work.
Step 1: First, connect your Android phone to the computer using a data cable. Then enable debugging mode like this- Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging > Turn On
Step 2: Unzip the zip file downloaded from the above link on your computer and AndroidTool.exe Run this program.
Step 3: Select the phone from “Select a device” in Android reverse tethering utility. Then select a DNS from “Select DNS to use”.
Step 4: Then click the Connect button to start the process. It will then install the required app on your phone. If for some reason it crashes, start over.
Step 5: Once the required app is installed it will ask you for root access. Then tap on “Grant”. And through this your phone will be ready to use internet.
In this way, the message shown in the image below may appear many times while using the Internet. In that case tap OK to continue your work.
