But while trying to catch them, two policemen of Bangladesh Police Force were about to get hit by a car. These three robbers were arrested from the capital's Vijayanagar intersection at around 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

The three robbers arrested are Asad, Haroon and their driver Barek. All three robbers are in their forties. Among them, Asad's house is in Jamalpur, Harun's house is in Bagerhat and Barek's house is in Munshiganj. These robbers were robbing a private car in different places of the capital for the past few days. According to the police, it is known that these three robbed a private car throughout the night. They used a white Toyota private car (Dhaka Metro-K-11-3370) for the robbery. When the police gave chase after getting the information, they started driving the car at a reckless speed. Seeing this situation, the police took a cautious position at various important intersections of the capital to catch the car. The police signaled the car to stop when it was crossing the capital's Vijayanagar intersection around 6:30 a.m. yesterday. But the speeding car from New Paltan did not stop and turned towards Purana Paltan. At that time, two policemen on the road narrowly escaped being crushed by the car. However, while fleeing, the vehicle collided with a pickup van coming from the opposite direction. As a result, the robbers could not escape with the car. Immediately, the police were able to arrest the robbers.

SI Aminul of Paltan police station said about arresting these robbers, information was given to catch this car from Shahjahanpur police station. But there was no stopping it. At some places they tried to run over the police motorcycle. The police officer also said that all three are professional robbers.
