A lake has suddenly formed in the desert of hard-hit Tunisia, sparking an uproar in the country. According to the information provided by the local authorities, the lake, covering an area of more than one hectare, contains more than 1 million cubic meters of water. Its depth is said to be 10 to 18 meters.
No one has yet been able to explain how such a lake was formed in the desert. This heart is named Gafsa Lake. Due to the sudden formation of this heart, it is considered by many as a miraculous lake. Many consider it a blessing and many consider it a curse.
Meanwhile, local authorities have warned everyone about entering the water. The water of this lake was clear blue in the beginning. But later it turns green again. Once again green algae started to form in that heart. More than 600 people have scuba dived and played water sports in the lake so far.
