But all over the country there are about 7 lakh seats for higher education. In such a situation, experts have suggested focusing on technical and vocational departments.

But the number of these good quality educational institutions is very less. Again, the number of seats in the average higher education universities in our country is very less compared to the neighboring ones or compared to GPA 5. What will happen to these students who passed? Everyone is worried about that.

There are 20,000 seats for admission in the preferred public universities including Dhaka University. On the other hand, there are 11 thousand seats in 12 technical universities, 22 medical colleges, 5 universities including BUET. In all, only 32 thousand students will be able to get admission in the university of their choice. But more than 70 thousand students got GPA 5.

On the other hand, 1 lakh students will get admission in 79 universities in the country. On the other hand, even if there are no exact statistics, another 5 lakh students will get higher education opportunities under the National University. But this time 9 lakh students have passed. So according to the calculation, at least 2 lakh students admission is uncertain!

In such a situation, education experts say, the number of private universities needs to be increased. Moreover, private universities also need to increase their standards. The future citizens of the country will be deprived of quality higher education if the infrastructure of government universities is not increased and the quality of private universities is not improved. However, in this case, experts feel that the technical department needs to be interested. Experts feel that there is an urgent need to encourage reading and writing in technical and vocational fields.
