The one you see in the picture is a turtle. Almost all of us know it. But this turtle is now an extinct animal. And so the tortoise is now a rare species in our country.
Bostami's Tortoise or Bostami's Tortoise is internationally recognized. A very rare and critically endangered species of turtle. Scientifically they are called as black soft shell turtles. Their scientific name is Aspideretes nigricans.
