Famous fiction writer late Humayun Ahmed, writer-educator Dr. Ayesha Faiz, mother of Muhammad Zafar Iqbal and cartoonist Ahsan Habib passed away. He breathed his last at 7 am on Saturday while undergoing treatment at LabAid Hospital in the capital.
It has been reported that the funeral will be held today after Ahsan Habib's Namaaz near Pallabir's house. After that, his body will be taken to Mohanganj, where he will be buried in the family cemetery, Ahsan Habib told the media.
It should be noted that Ayesha Faiz was suffering from various physical complications including heart disease and kidney disease for a long time. Ayesha Faiz was undergoing dialysis since last 6 months due to kidney infection.
