It is known that when the locals screamed after seeing a snake in a house in Chitalmari area of Bagerhat district, they came and rescued about half a hundred snakes from there. About 60 more snake eggs were also found from that house.
According to media sources, the people of the house started screaming after seeing a snake coming out of the house of a man named Manmoth Heera of Dari Umajuri North Para village in Santoshpur Union. People gathered around shouting. After that, the people of the house with the help of local residents dug up the house and killed about half a hundred snakes.
About 60 more snake eggs were recovered from the soil of that house. When this news spread in the area, there was a sensation. Hundreds of people from nearby villages gathered. However, there is also a fear of snakes among the locals.
