The Dhaka Times Desk A police officer had to die yesterday on March 30 because of the mobile phone which is being used in many ways in our society. He was killed by a train while talking on a mobile phone. The incident took place in Uttara area of the capital.
According to the details of the incident, the deceased Aminul Islam (48) was in charge of the OC of Bhola Detective Police. He was the victim of an accident on the morning of Saturday 30th March in the capital's Uttara. Eyewitnesses said that Aminul Islam was crossing the railway crossing in front of Joynal Market in Sector 7 of Uttara around 10:30 am. At that time, he did not realize that the train was coming because he was talking on his mobile phone. Police Inspector Aminul died on the spot after being hit by the Bahadurabad-bound Agniveena Express. Aminul Islam came to Dhaka on March 29 with a 10-day leave for treatment. His house is next to Joynal Market near the accident site.
It should be noted that everyone should be careful while using mobile phones. Because recently the use of mobile phones has increased to such an extent that more mobile phones are being used unnecessarily than necessary. Many times it is seen talking on mobile while driving a car or motorcycle. This should never be done. Because life can be endangered by the slightest carelessness—at least yesterday's incident reminds us of that.
