We know that love cannot be forced from someone. If someone doesn't love someone because of verbal love, then no one will do anything about it. But this time, in such an incident, a husband has to pay a fine. The incident happened in Turkey. A husband there said to his wife I don't love you. And so he was fined by the Supreme Court. The court termed such comments by the husband as 'emotional violence'.
Before the couple divorced, both demanded damages from each other. Which eventually leads to court. After the hearing, Turkey's lowest court said, 'They are both equally bad.'
Later, the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, in its order, said, "The husband's comment that he 'does not love' his wife constitutes emotional violence against his wife." Therefore, the court ordered the husband to compensate the wife.
According to media reports, the wife said that her husband had completely broken down due to such comments. In response, the husband said that his wife used to abuse him very badly, that is why he made this comment.
It should be noted that the Turkish government is making every effort to stop all kinds of violence against women. However, if someone is tortured emotionally or mentally, it is often difficult to prove it in court on paper.
