The Dhaka Times Desk JSC and JDC exams are starting today Sunday across the country. A total of 23 lakh 25 thousand 933 students will participate in JSC and JDC this year.
A total of 23 lakh 25 thousand 933 students will participate in JSC and JDC this year. Among them, 12 lakh 43 thousand 263 students and 10 lakh 82 thousand 670 students. According to board sources, the number of female students is 160 thousand 593 more than male students.
JSC's 'Bangla Prothompatra' and JDC's 'Qur'an Majeed and Tajbid' exam will be held on the first day of this national exam starting at 10 am.
This year, there are 2,627 examination centers for 23 lakh students under 28,632 educational institutions across the country. This year the number of centers is 102 and the number of educational institutions is 707 more than last year.
Participating in the exam this year:

3 lakh 58 thousand 486 students from JDC.

A total of 585 students will participate in the examination at these places.
This year the number of JSC irregular exam candidates is 1 lakh 18 thousand 214 and JDC 14 thousand 779 respectively. 1 lakh 9 thousand 620 candidates of JSC and 11 thousand 951 candidates of JDC who failed in subjects 1, 2 and 3 will also take the exam this time.
This time the students will take creative question papers in all subjects except Bengali II and English I and II papers. There are two sections in MCQ and creative questions. But if you get 33 marks in both parts together, it will be considered pass. MCQ and creative exam will be conducted in same account. In case of MCQ, there is no need to fill in the circle, just tick. No candidate is required to take the scholarship test individually. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of the evaluation of this examination.
20 minutes additional time will be given for hearing or other disabilities. It is said that there will also be opportunities for auditory writers for the visually and cerebrally challenged and those without hands.
It should be noted that the JSC and JDC exams started from the year 2010. In the first year, a total of 14 lakh 92 thousand 802 people participated in the examination. Since then, the number of students is continuously increasing every year.
