The Dhaka Times Desk The Dhaka Central Jail Authority has completed the execution of BNP leader Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury and Jamaat leader Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid, who were sentenced for crimes against humanity.
According to the latest news, the family members of these two convicts have been called for a meeting. Salauddin Quader Chowdhury's family has already arrived in Dhaka Central Jail. However, the family members of Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid have not appeared yet.
Earlier in the morning, two magistrates entered to inquire about their alms. Both later appealed to the President for mercy. However, the result of the application is still not reached. However, the security system around the Dhaka Central Jail has been strengthened since evening. It looks like the execution may take place tonight.
